The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdi Mehmet İnan got free with Ahmet Vefik Seza in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sakut Arslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Özden Talayhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yeni Malatyaspor's Özden Talayhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saffet Eldemir in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saffet Eldemir in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özden Talayhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Özden Talayhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saffet Eldemir's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Abdi Mehmet İnan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yeni Malatyaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Mazgirt JK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gafur Zabit hit a great ball. Ahmet Vefik Seza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulkadir Bağdaş in the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Saffet Eldemir sped through Yeni Malatyaspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Özden Talayhan. 33 minutes into the game, Baransel Ataseven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdi Mehmet İnan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Mazgirt JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Vefik Seza should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Yeni Malatyaspor's Abdulkadir Bağdaş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Vefik Seza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Yeni Malatyaspor's zone, Saffet Eldemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özden Talayhan came out of the goal and Saffet Eldemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aykan Rahim hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Özden Talayhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saffet Eldemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Abdi Mehmet İnan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
