An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulkadir Bağdaş in the 20th minute of play forced Mazgirt JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Seza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazgirt JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeni Malatyaspor the free kick. After 34 played minutes Mazgirt JK got a freekick which was hit by Sakut Arslan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Engin Soytekin during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basri Mengüalp hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdi Mehmet İnan made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Abdulkadir Bağdaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazgirt JK's Ahmet Vefik Seza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Vefik Seza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulkadir Bağdaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Yeni Malatyaspor's Özden Talayhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakut Arslan in the 56th minute of play. Burak Şükran got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abdi Mehmet İnan. In the 61st match minute, Yeni Malatyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulkadir Bağdaş to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Mehmet İnan in the 81st minute of play forced Mazgirt JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Seza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özden Talayhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saffet Eldemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Yeni Malatyaspor's Özden Talayhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saffet Eldemir in the 93rd minute of play. Ahmet Vefik Seza came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Yeni Malatyaspor's Can Erginer. But to his dismay, Can Erginer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yeni Malatyaspor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
