Ayhan Yalavaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşık Başdaş in the 39th minute of the match. Halis Okcun kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Halis Okcun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Göktas SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Halis Okcun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökberk Sarif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erzurumspor JK's Davut Üner got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Kutlualp Erduran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökberk Sarif was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
