Hamza Kongur came out of the goal and Kutlualp Erduran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kenan Baray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Cevat Geçimoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göktas SK's Ayhan Yalavaç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th match minute, Göktas SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haluk Tokuz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Erenay Canay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamza Kongur was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 33rdth minute of the game Kutlualp Erduran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Safranbolu JK's Hamza Kongur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th match minute, Safranbolu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İzzet Yücelay to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Zekai Makul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamza Kongur skillfully saved the ball. Erenay Canay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Göktas SK's Ayhan Yalavaç got control of the ball when Kenan Baray tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kutlualp Erduran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hamza Kongur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kutlualp Erduran made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Erkan Mülayim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Safranbolu JK's Kenan Baray got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halis Okcun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamza Kongur having to interfere. Rıdvan Tanberk struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Hamza Kongur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göktas SK. After a defensive mix-up in Göktas SK's zone, Kenan Baray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Yalavaç came out of the goal and Kenan Baray tried to chip the ball over his head. The tension between the Göktas SK and the Safranbolu JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Göktas SK got a freekick which was hit by Halis Okcun. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cevat Geçimoğlu in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayhan Yalavaç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Göktas SK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ahmet Göktuğ Varlık hit a great ball. Safranbolu JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mürsel Canbek in the 87th minute. Mürsel Canbek made a great header on Safranbolu JK's corner, it was just that Göktas SK's Ayhan Yalavaç managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 92nd minute Cevat Geçimoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayhan Yalavaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
