The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuzhan Sebih during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Osmaniye JK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Oğuzhan Sebih hit a great ball. Tophane's Ahmet İlke Akçakaya couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Osmaniye JK. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
