GALATASARAY's Atilla Tarkan Samih got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Caner Özdek kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Faruk Nafiz Gülle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denizhan Attaroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Galatasaray's Denizhan Attaroğlu in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Faruk Nafiz Gülle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mehmet Hakkı Yağız ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galatasaray had played much better football throughout.
