Andrea Di Natale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eray Keskiner having to interfere. Andrea Di Natale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eray Keskiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ertunç İldemir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eray Keskiner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Gelibolu FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Andrea Di Natale scored to the left of an out of position Eray Keskiner, making the score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Andrea Di Natale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Di Natale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eray Keskiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bektaş Veli Yağızalp hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Hızır Uran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrettin Yanık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bektaş Veli Yağızalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Salih Dirican fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gelibolu FK's protests and gave Salih Dirican a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when Gelibolu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökhan Kılıçdaroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gelibolu FK's Yağızalp Bera got a free kick in the 80th minute.
