Halfeti's Cabbar Tolgay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Halfeti from getting a goal against them. If Derviş Tunçkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tayfur İsiman made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Akın Karahan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Bahri Vatansever from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Paul Ruffin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Ahmet Bedri Tarab came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Bayrakli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Bedri Tarab couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredão de Souza in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cabbar Tolgay saved Halfeti from getting behind. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ahmet Bedri Tarab sped through Halfeti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cabbar Tolgay. When Bayrakli's Ahmet Bedri Tarab in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cabbar Tolgay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cabbar Tolgay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derviş Tunçkan in the 81st minute of play. Ahmet Bedri Tarab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cabbar Tolgay having to interfere. Cabbar Tolgay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Çağlar Yergin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Paul Ruffin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
