An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Ahmet Korcan Ersal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kıvanç Şensoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asım Şikel in the 25th minute of play. Öztürk Tuyuğ kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Tvrtko Vojnović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferman Poyraz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ahmet Oğuz Neşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlheinz Jäckel in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Ahmet Korcan Ersal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reyhanli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seyhan FK the free kick. Ahmet Korcan Ersal hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Seyhan FK got a freekick which was hit by Selami Sezginay. Asım Şikel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kıvanç Şensoy came out and tried to block the shot, but Asım Şikel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tvrtko Vojnović in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Oğuz Neşit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Seyhan FK booed when Reyhanli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Öztürk Tuyuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Seyhan FK's Tvrtko Vojnović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Oğuz Neşit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Seyhan FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Reyhanli's goalkeeper Ahmet Oğuz Neşit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reyhanli's Ahmet Oğuz Neşit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Reyhanli from getting a goal against them. Habib İsmail's late challenge caught a Seyhan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Habib İsmail helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 played minutes Reyhanli got a freekick which was hit by Habib İsmail. After 70 minutes of play, Seyhan FK's Tvrtko Vojnović made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Oğuz Neşit was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the game, Tvrtko Vojnović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ahmet Oğuz Neşit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Seyhan FK made a substitution. Güray Haliç replaced Atacan Aldemir. Karlheinz Jäckel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Oğuz Neşit having to interfere. Tvrtko Vojnović took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Oğuz Neşit. Ahmet Oğuz Neşit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5.
