Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aytunç Hamurcu kicked off to start the match. Beyhan Mirkelam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ali Ege came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the IZMIRGFB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Ege couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute of the match, Aytunç Hamurcu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andreas Norberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Ege in the 26th minute of play forced Kemeralti's goalkeeper Göksel Ecemiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IZMIRGFB's Lalo Somalo managed to work through Kemeralti's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lalo Somalo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 30th minute, Waclaw Lewandowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Kemeralti's Aytunç Hamurcu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Norberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kemeralti's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ertunç Kara in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ertunç Kara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andreas Norberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 39th match minute, Kemeralti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytunç Hamurcu to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Kemeralti got a freekick which was hit by Ertunç Kara. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Ali Ege made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lalo Somalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göksel Ecemiş. Kemeralti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lalo Somalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Kemeralti booed when IZMIRGFB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Lewandowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. IZMIRGFB's Andreas Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beyhan Mirkelam in the 70th minute of play. When Ali Ege came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the IZMIRGFB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Ege couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Kemeralti's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Ege came free, but Göksel Ecemiş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lalo Somalo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Göksel Ecemiş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IZMIRGFB. 77 minutes into the match, Kemeralti's goalkeeper Göksel Ecemiş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lalo Somalo. The supporters of Kemeralti booed when IZMIRGFB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Lewandowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Kemeralti's Göksel Ecemiş got control of the ball when Lalo Somalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kemeralti booed when IZMIRGFB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güralp Namal didn't get a good kick on the ball. IZMIRGFB were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Kemeralti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ekrem Batı took the corner.
