Mustafa Hakan Pertev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasin Batıhan having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Cihangir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzhan Balamir to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göktuğ Açıker in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yasin Batıhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yasin Batıhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Pertev, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Hakan Pertev in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yasin Batıhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ahmet Bedri Karadağ got free in front of the goal in the 28th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Yasin Batıhan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Göktuğ Açıker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fethi Çağa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Çağan Keşif was a little too slow when Özgün Tunalı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Hakan Pertev in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yasin Batıhan saved Cihangir from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Cihangir's goal looked a bit too open when Binali Darcan came free, but Yasin Batıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mechanical Engineers booed when Cihangir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Barış Kural didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özgün Tunalı to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Mechanical Engineers's Göktuğ Açıker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yasin Batıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oğuzcan Seciye kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Mustafa Hakan Pertev came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mechanical Engineers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Hakan Pertev couldn't finish the play. Yasin Batıhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göktuğ Açıker went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Göktuğ Açıker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasin Batıhan having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cihangir defense, Göktuğ Açıker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yasin Batıhan. The Cihangir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yasin Batıhan should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Hakan Pertev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yasin Batıhan was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After 88 played minutes Mechanical Engineers got a freekick which was hit by Kağan Paksoy. The supporters of Mechanical Engineers booed when Cihangir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzcan Seciye didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Göktuğ Açıker in the 97th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
