Hadi Uğurel in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bayhan Yalınayak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 15 minutes into the match, Berker Rıza Seciye had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuncay Cemre. İZMİRSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berker Rıza Seciye was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 17 played minutes İZMİRSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Ege Mürsel. Bayhan Yalınayak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Öztürk Malkoçoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayhan Yalınayak made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Öztürk Malkoçoğlu sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Karahalli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şinasi Acarsoy to maneuver through the defense. Ege Mürsel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bayhan Yalınayak came out and tried to block the shot, but Ege Mürsel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. Karahalli SK's Bayhan Yalınayak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Karahalli SK from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes, Hadi Uğurel made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Karahalli SK's Bayhan Yalınayak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, İZMİRSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Erdoğan Selmi came free, but Tuncay Cemre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hadi Uğurel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Bayhan Yalınayak made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berker Rıza Seciye was the one to do the kick off. İZMİRSPOR's Öztürk Malkoçoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayhan Yalınayak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Erdoğan Selmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayhan Yalınayak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi Uğurel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Bayhan Yalınayak came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by İZMİRSPOR's Öztürk Malkoçoğlu. But to his dismay, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Osman Ali Şahistan scored 5-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayhan Yalınayak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osman Ali Şahistan during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osman Ali Şahistan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Karahalli SK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Namık Kemal İmren hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayhan Yalınayak was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Karahalli SK's Bayhan Yalınayak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macit Kantürk in the 94th minute of play. Bayhan Yalınayak came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by İZMİRSPOR's Öztürk Malkoçoğlu. But to his dismay, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. There was no doubt that İZMİRSPOR were the better team. İZMİRSPOR's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
