But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şerafettin Kayral couldn't finish the play. Bozkir's Mustafa Emrah Tüzeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıza Safer in the 15th minute of play. The referee showed Nebi Temizsan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Bozkir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nebi Temizsan to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bozkir's goalkeeper Mustafa Emrah Tüzeman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gülsümspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
