Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Boğaç Tarab got the match started through his kick off. İldeniz Sancaktar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Doğaner Serhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doğaner Serhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İldeniz Sancaktar, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. İsmail Cem Baroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, İldeniz Sancaktar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doğaner Serhan. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 17th minute, one of Kozan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kozan. Mehmet Halis Uğurata went to the wrong direction when Niyazi Bozdağ was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. İhsan Kirtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mehmet Halis Uğurata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gevas's Erim Öktuna got a free kick in the 30th minute. İldeniz Sancaktar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğaner Serhan having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Boğaç Tarab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Halis Uğurata. Kozan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boğaç Tarab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 40th minute, Erim Öktuna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doğaner Serhan was a little too slow when İldeniz Sancaktar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İldeniz Sancaktar to make the kick off. İldeniz Sancaktar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute of the match Kozan got a corner. Gevas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İrfan Malkoçoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kozan's İrfan Malkoçoğlu to fire away a dangerous shot which Doğaner Serhan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Kozan's Sait Sururi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doğaner Serhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Doğaner Serhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İldeniz Sancaktar in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute İsmail Cem Baroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Halis Uğurata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kozan's John Guidetti got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mehmet Ferit Cengel hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Sait Sururi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğaner Serhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Haşmet Artuç threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kozan's Sercan Özdoğal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If İldeniz Sancaktar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, İldeniz Sancaktar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If İhsan Kirtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boğaç Tarab was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Gevas getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mustafa Necati Özveren hit a great ball. Gevas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
