Demirhan Okutans short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Barlas Saatçioğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 18 minutes into the game, Baykan Gültekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Arac booed when Persembe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Salman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demirhan Okutan in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Barlas Saatçioğlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Barlas Saatçioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdinç Eraltay, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Aycan Serir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Siret having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Reşit Muammer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derman Siret was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Aycan Serir charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aycan Serir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aycan Serir kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Persembe JK's Ahmet Kutsi Sabri got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Erdinç Eraltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arac's zone, Erdinç Eraltay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barlas Saatçioğlu came out of the goal and Erdinç Eraltay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reşit Muammer made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Reşit Muammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Siret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Ahmet Kutsi Sabri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Persembe JK and the Arac players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Persembe JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kutsi Sabri to maneuver through the defense. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Arac to win.
