In the 10th minute, Samim Saatçioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Umut Ertaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semih Kayacan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nasir Beksan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umut Ertaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semih Kayacan having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Yenisanayi's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nasir Beksan came free, but Semih Kayacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Demre Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwann Jacquier to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Umut Ertaş's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Semih Kayacan was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After having played for 37 minutes, Umut Ertaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demre Sk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umut Ertaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yenisanayi's zone, Ahmet Nasir Beksan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semih Kayacan came out of the goal and Ahmet Nasir Beksan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bayındır Varol's late challenge caught a Demre Sk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bayındır Varol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute Mehmet Ali Baybars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necip Karacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umut Ertaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semih Kayacan having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Erwann Jacquier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demre Sk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Demre Sk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zeynel Pekdeger charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeynel Pekdeger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Demre Sk's Zeynel Pekdeger got a free kick in the 51st minute. Semih Kayacan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwann Jacquier in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Umut Ertaş could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Semih Kayacan however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Nasir Beksan got free with Semih Kayacan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Yenisanayi's zone, Umut Ertaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semih Kayacan came out of the goal and Umut Ertaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, Demre Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Clayton to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ahmet Nasir Beksan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yenisanayi's Semih Kayacan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demre Sk's Zeynel Pekdeger got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akın Taşel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Adam Clayton came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Demre Sk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Clayton couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Nasir Beksan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Semih Kayacan was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Demre Sk's Zeynel Pekdeger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Semih Kayacan. Semih Kayacan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When the match was over Demre Sk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yenisanayi throughout the match.
