If Veysel Tüzün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necmi Tuncel charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necmi Tuncel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carsibasi booed when Urfa spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necmi Tuncel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökhun Okanay to make the kick off. Gökhun Okanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ateş Özarı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Urfa spor's goal looked a bit too open when Esat Pektaşi came free, but Lütfullah Acabay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veysel Tüzün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veysel Tüzün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lütfullah Acabay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lütfullah Acabay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esat Pektaşi's shot from short distance in the 86th minute.
