In the 8th minute, Vahit Nezihi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vahit Nezihi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Batur Hekimhanlı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bahadırhan Sarphan went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bahadırhan Sarphan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Derman Akmanoğlu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Sancarbey Atlıhan 24 minutes into the match. With splendid footwork Derman Akmanoğlu arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 29th minute. If Vahit Nezihi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seyfettin Baydak charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seyfettin Baydak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Kizilay's zone, Derman Akmanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sancarbey Atlıhan came out of the goal and Derman Akmanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vahit Nezihi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sezen Yamaç's late challenge caught a Bodrum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bahadırhan Sarphan to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Bahadırhan Sarphan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kizilay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahadırhan Sarphan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bahadırhan Sarphan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Batur Hekimhanlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erim Sayın charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erim Sayın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erim Sayın hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bodrum's Burç Yaruk tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Sezen Yamaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Bodrum's Sertaç Koçarslanoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sancarbey Atlıhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahit Nezihi in the 78th minute of play forced Kizilay's goalkeeper Sancarbey Atlıhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erkin Koç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batur Hekimhanlı having to interfere. Bahadırhan Sarphan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Batur Hekimhanlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Derman Akmanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sancarbey Atlıhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 94th match minute, Kizilay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erim Sayın to maneuver through the defense. Erim Sayın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bodrum had played much better football throughout.
