Kizilay's Sancarbey Atlıhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytekin Canbulat in the 47th minute of play. The supporters of SuperStrike booed when Kizilay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneş Salti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Gencay Canpolat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SuperStrike's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencay Canpolat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baturhan Bahçıvan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Gencay Canpolat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperStrike and the Kizilay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gencay Canpolat kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Erim Sayın was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. İsmail Hakkı Laçin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sancarbey Atlıhan having to make a save.
