BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE's Fahri Özbek got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Fikret Gökyüzü kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, HendekSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Fikret Gökyüzü to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Semi Demiralp in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İlker Başarman saved HendekSpor from getting behind. İlker Başarman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaká Gonçalves in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Semi Demiralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semi Demiralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE's Kaká Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İlker Başarman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nicanor Fix came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by HendekSpor's Birdal Ballıoğlu. But to his dismay, Birdal Ballıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute of the match Behiç Haşmetli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Fix skillfully saved the ball. Kaká Gonçalves in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of İlker Başarman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Batı Ataner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Fix having to interfere. A collision led to BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hüseyin Cahit Aldemir hit a great ball. BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE's Nicanor Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökhan Özender in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Birdal Ballıoğlu made the kick off in the second half. If Battal Cüneyt Duyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batı Ataners short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Nicanor Fix to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Alpertunga Soysaldı fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HendekSpor's protests and gave Alpertunga Soysaldı a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE's goalkeeper Nicanor Fix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batı Ataner. The BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE's Kaká Gonçalves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Semi Demiralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlker Başarman having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Birdal Ballıoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicanor Fix. The goal made the score 2-3. The supporters of HendekSpor booed when BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahtiyar Sarıalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Fix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Fikret Gökyüzü in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE's goal looked a bit too open when Gökhan Özender came free, but Nicanor Fix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Fix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birdal Ballıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, HendekSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Cüneyt Duyar came free, but İlker Başarman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Jaszynski to maneuver through the defense. Gökhan Özender helped the player get up and apologised. BEŞİKTAŞ EAGLE were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing HendekSpor to leave the ground with a draw.
