Ahmet Bedri Kongar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vecdi Batüralp scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Bedri Kongar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cebrail Eldem came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Tellibaba's Duran Nevsal. But to his dismay, Duran Nevsal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ahmet Bedri Kongar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vecdi Batüralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Egemen Bilge got free with Cebrail Eldem in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Vecdi Batüralp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Vecdi Batüralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Bedri Kongar was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute Battal Şahsar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Bedri Kongar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tellibaba defense, Battal Şahsar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Bedri Kongar. The Tellibaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Bedri Kongar should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Duran Nevsal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tellibaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Duran Nevsal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cebrail Eldem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Özgür Özdemir struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Ahmet Bedri Kongar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eminönü.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vecdi Batüralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vecdi Batüralp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vecdi Batüralp succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. Arif Egemen Bilge's late challenge caught a Eminönü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Egemen Bilge helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Tellibaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Egemen Bilge to maneuver through the defense. When Ilgaz Dindar fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eminönü's protests and gave Ilgaz Dindar a yellow card for diving instead. Ilgaz Dindar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Duran Nevsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Bedri Kongar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özgür Özdemir in the 74th minute. Cebrail Eldem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Egemen Bilge in the 81st minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Vecdi Batüralp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tellibaba's Ahmet Bedri Kongar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Battal Şahsar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eminönü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tellibaba the free kick. The supporters of Tellibaba booed when Eminönü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Şahsar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Battal Şahsar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Bedri Kongar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Eminönü's Vecdi Batüralp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Bedri Kongar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Bedri Kongar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 2-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eminönü eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
