After having played for 18 minutes, Peyami Totuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yenifakili SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peyami Totuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peyami Totuk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Yenifakili SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Baykam Geylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Baykam Geylan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenifakili SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Baykam Geylan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabit Denizhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yenifakili SK! Gürsel Seri hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peyami Totuk in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabit Denizhan saved ÇayLak-FK from getting behind. Orhan Seyfi Umuralp's late challenge caught a ÇayLak-FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orhan Seyfi Umuralp helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ÇayLak-FK booed when Yenifakili SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Seyfi Umuralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peyami Totuk made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Yenifakili SK's Baykam Geylan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabit Denizhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute Peyami Totuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabit Denizhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
