The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of TOKATSK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iznik SK:s goal. Ferman Balkanlıoğlu's late challenge caught a TOKATSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferman Balkanlıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Ferman Balkanlıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Reşat Salah as he didn't even see the shot coming.
