Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Karabaglar SK's Meriç Tarim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Meriç Tarim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Düzce's Cemil Tekinel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Meriç Tarim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karabaglar SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meriç Tarim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Necip Akgün might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cemil Tekinel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necip Akgün ran back to his position shaking his head. Meriç Tarim took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cemil Tekinel. Cemil Tekinel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Karabaglar SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasım Yanık to maneuver through the defense. Cemil Perver kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Karabaglar SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Turan Necaettin to maneuver through the defense. Cemil Tekinel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meriç Tarim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Düzce's goalkeeper Cemil Tekinel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Meriç Tarim in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cemil Tekinel saved Düzce from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derya Özkaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cavit Korcan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Derya Özkaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Düzce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karabaglar SK the free kick. After 59 played minutes Düzce got a freekick which was hit by Derya Özkaya. Meriç Tarim struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Cemil Tekinel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karabaglar SK. After 62 minutes, Meriç Tarim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karabaglar SK and the Düzce players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karabaglar SK's Meriç Tarim got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Derya Özkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İzzet Talaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İzzet Talaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Ekvan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cemil Tekinel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meriç Tarim's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 71 minutes, Erenay Elmastaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Düzce and the Karabaglar SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erenay Elmastaş hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Necip Akgün got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Necip Akgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cemil Tekinel was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
