In the 15th minute Güntekin Yatuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orhan Yalınalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SeViNÇöReN SK's Orhan Yalınalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save SeViNÇöReN SK from getting a goal against them. Alkan Taşkınay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Beti in the 44th minute of the match. Alkan Taşkınay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ünsal Tekay's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Beti to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Osman Onsal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Tekkeköy FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonzalo Beti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
