After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Leroy Strothmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavisehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Leroy Strothmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erkin Yay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Göle's zone, Vedat Hadim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erkin Yay came out of the goal and Vedat Hadim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th match minute, Göle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enginsu Okcan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, İbrahim Efe Yamaner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Göle's supporters rose to their feet, but İbrahim Efe Yamaner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Bullinger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leroy Strothmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Leroy Strothmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erkin Yay was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Rafet Pekdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Erkin Yay made a huge save. Göle's Erkin Yay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Strothmann in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Vedat Hadim notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Göle's Erkin Yay. Erkin Yay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 played minutes Göle got a freekick which was hit by Sungurbey Topçay. After 43 minutes, Basri Sufi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göle and the Mavisehir players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erkin Yay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Strothmann in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, İbrahim Efe Yamaner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Göle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İbrahim Efe Yamaner made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Mavisehir's Alphan Cangun made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erkin Yay was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 59 minutes, Leroy Strothmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mavisehir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leroy Strothmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göle's Erkin Yay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alphan Cangun in the 62nd minute of play. Erkin Yay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leroy Strothmann's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute Leroy Strothmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erkin Yay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erkin Yay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Strothmann in the 72nd minute of play. Behlül Oytun charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behlül Oytun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mavisehir's Alphan Cangun got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leroy Strothmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erkin Yay having to interfere. Göle's Erkin Yay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Strothmann in the 97th minute of play. Mavisehir's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
