Spectators: 6957 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Yalçın Pekol started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Tahtakale booed when Mihalgazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçe Türkmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes, Tahtakale's Göktürk Tura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Seyfettin Osman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tahtakale reached it. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mihalgazi's goalkeeper Seyfettin Osman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seyfettin Osman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Köksal Rahmi's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mihalgazi's zone, Boran Beybolat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyfettin Osman came out of the goal and Boran Beybolat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Köksal Rahmi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mihalgazi's Seyfettin Osman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göktürk Tura in the 21st minute of play forced Mihalgazi's goalkeeper Seyfettin Osman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şenol Ayyıldız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Yalçın Pekol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bilgin Özozan, 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Mihalgazi's goal looked a bit too open when Köksal Rahmi came free, but Seyfettin Osman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hayri Ekabir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Bilgin Özozan made a huge save. Mihalgazi's Hayri Ekabir got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tahtakale's goalkeeper Bilgin Özozan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Tahtakale's goal looked a bit too open when Yalçın Pekol came free, but Bilgin Özozan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Tahtakale's corner Göktürk Tura fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Seyfettin Osman quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Köksal Rahmi made the kick off in the second half. Şenol Ayyıldız struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Seyfettin Osman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tahtakale. If Şenol Ayyıldız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hayri Ekabir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tahtakale's Göktürk Tura got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mihalgazi's Gökçe Türkmen got a free kick in the 64th minute. Seyfettin Osman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hulusi Halıcıoğlu. A collision led to Mihalgazi getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. İlmi Dokuzoğlu hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Tahtakale were awarded a corner. Göktürk Tura went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Göktürk Tura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Seyfettin Osman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Köksal Rahmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Şenol Ayyıldız managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tahtakale's supporters rose to their feet, but Şenol Ayyıldız was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyfettin Osman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mihalgazi's zone, Serkan Akşit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyfettin Osman came out of the goal and Serkan Akşit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihalgazi's Seyfettin Osman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Mihalgazi from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Köksal Rahmi got free with Seyfettin Osman in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Nasir Yeten charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Nasir Yeten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Nasir Yeten hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tahtakale's Köksal Rahmi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Seyfettin Osman. That made the score 1-1 after 91 minutes of play. After 94 played minutes Mihalgazi got a freekick which was hit by Gökçe Türkmen.
