Uygur İncesu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Uygur İncesu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Ediz Toralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Millenium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediz Toralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zaid Akdurmuş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuzey Aydınalp's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Lemi Baran in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Millenium's Abdülhak Mutlu. Kuzey Aydınalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuzey Aydınalp to make the kick off. In the 96th minute, Güven Haspolatlı fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abdurrezzak Ulu, passed just outside the right post.
