After 14 minutes, Peker Tura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osmaneli SK and the Mardin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peker Tura hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Osmaneli SK's zone, Reis Türek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şerafettin Atay came out of the goal and Reis Türek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Mardin's Mehmet Efe Onurhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şerafettin Atay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Efe Onurhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerafettin Atay having to interfere. If Birdal Evvel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mardin's Orkun Kayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birdal Evvel in the 31st minute of play. If Reis Türek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şerafettin Atay was a little too slow when Mehmet Efe Onurhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birdal Evvel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mehmet Efe Onurhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mardin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 56 minutes into the match, Osmaneli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Reis Türek came free, but Şerafettin Atay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Birdal Evvel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orkun Kayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reis Türek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şerafettin Atay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Efe Onurhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Birdal Evvel's late challenge caught a Mardin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birdal Evvel helped the player get up and apologised. Birdal Evvel kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Reis Türek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Osmaneli SK's Şerafettin Atay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mehmet Efe Onurhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Şerafettin Atay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Reis Türek put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Şerafettin Atay. 92 minutes into the match, Mehmet Efe Onurhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şerafettin Atay. Osmaneli SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Efe Onurhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Efe Onurhan in the 98th minute of play forced Osmaneli SK's goalkeeper Şerafettin Atay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Mardin were the better team. Mardin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
