Tahsin Kuntay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tahsin Kuntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Okdağ in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doğuş Zişan got free with Tahsin Kuntay in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Tahsin Kuntay managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when KAPLAN SK's Doğuş Zişan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tahsin Kuntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Okdağ in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Mehdi Balatürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Doğuş Zişan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the KAPLAN SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuş Zişan couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Karatas SK's zone, Mehmet Ediz Okdağ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahsin Kuntay came out of the goal and Mehmet Ediz Okdağ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kılıç Sualp hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Doğuş Zişan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ediz Okdağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tahsin Kuntay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Hüseyin Can Gümüşcüoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karatas SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAPLAN SK the free kick. In the 44th minute Reşit Tümel suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 44 minutes, Kılıç Sualp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karatas SK and the KAPLAN SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KAPLAN SK booed when Karatas SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kılıç Sualp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Doğuş Zişan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, KAPLAN SK's goalkeeper Bedir Eryaman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Balatürk. Tahsin Kuntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Okdağ in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Mehmet Ediz Okdağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahsin Kuntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berke Mukremin's late challenge caught a KAPLAN SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berke Mukremin helped the player get up and apologised. Tahsin Kuntay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ediz Okdağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KAPLAN SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
