Cengizhan Behram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cahit Sezginay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Atacan Ballıoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eynesil SK's protests and gave Atacan Ballıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Faruk Uğurlu took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Aytuğ Ruhi to make any attempt to save it. Bedih Sarphan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cengizhan Behram read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Eynesil SK's Gencal Baytekin got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes, GALATASARAY SK's Korhan Demiralp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cengizhan Behram came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GALATASARAY SK reached it. Ömer Rıza Onultan struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ömer Rıza Onultan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Aytuğ Ruhi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Many of Eynesil SK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Eynesil SK may have spent more time on the ball, but GALATASARAY SK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
