An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaç Acem in the 3rd minute of play forced ÜSKÜDARGÜCÜ's goalkeeper Arif Memduh Yesari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Nicu Cozma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aşık Çelebi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, ŞİMŞEKLER's goalkeeper Aşık Çelebi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicu Cozma. After a rather tough play, ÜSKÜDARGÜCÜ's Ergin Çevikcan got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Halit Fahri Muren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Memduh Yesari showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Raik Köklem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÜSKÜDARGÜCÜ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŞİMŞEKLER the free kick. After 18 played minutes ÜSKÜDARGÜCÜ got a freekick which was hit by Raik Köklem. In the 19th minute of the match Halit Fahri Muren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Memduh Yesari showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Artaç Acem fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ŞİMŞEKLER's protests and gave Artaç Acem a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes ŞİMŞEKLER got a freekick which was hit by Artaç Acem. Halit Fahri Muren kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Nicu Cozmas short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Aşık Çelebi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the last second Aşık Çelebi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nicu Cozma in the 48thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruhi Kultigin to make the kick off. Nicu Cozma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halit Fahri Muren during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ŞİMŞEKLER getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Halit Fahri Muren hit a great ball. Aşık Çelebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Cozma in the 69th minute of play.
