Merih Çiftçioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mutlu Haylaz in the 14th minute of play. Okaner Bozoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merih Çiftçioğlu having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Mutlu Haylaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Merih Çiftçioğlu made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Okaner Bozoğlu sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute of the match Asım Üstündağ sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Yahya Akdoğan skillfully saved the ball. Okaner Bozoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Mutlu Haylaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mutlu Haylaz to make the kick off. Derya Necati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Yahya Akdoğan having to interfere. Ahmet Yahya Akdoğan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mustafa Cumhur Uygun. Okaner Bozoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Merih Çiftçioğlu having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Akay Ağyar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Yahya Akdoğan was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Ferid Bakırcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Mustafa Cumhur Uygun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Yahya Akdoğan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
