With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyit Sayhan in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akgün Ülkem saved Goztepe from getting behind. Günay İnanır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umut İzmirli, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Günay İnanır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsnü Masuk in the 44th minute of the match. Sarper Taylan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Goztepe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Akgün Acarbay got free in front of the goal in the 69th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Umut İzmirli might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Günay İnanır. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Umut İzmirli ran back to his position shaking his head. Goztepe's Umut İzmirli got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akgün Ülkem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akgün Acarbay in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, nevşehir spor's goalkeeper Günay İnanır had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umut İzmirli. The nevşehir spor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Goztepe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
