Lütfi Samin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Artvin FK's Serbülent Urhan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lütfi Samin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lütfi Samin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keramettin Onay's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Murat Uzbay kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Atabek Ersevim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serbülent Urhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Lütfi Samin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Artvin FK fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Artvin FK's Keramettin Onay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Keramettin Onay fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Artvin FK's protests and gave Keramettin Onay a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ahmet Ömür Yücesoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ejderhalar's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Ömür Yücesoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Yürüker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keramettin Onay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ahmet Ömür Yücesoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Yürüker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Serbülent Urhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atabek Ersevim might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arman Yürüker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atabek Ersevim ran back to his position shaking his head. Lütfi Samin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serbülent Urhan in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Artvin FK booed when Ejderhalar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibet Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Ömür Yücesoy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arman Yürüker. That made the score 2-2 in the 85 minute of play. Artvin FK's Serbülent Urhan got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serbülent Urhan in the 96th minute of play forced Ejderhalar's goalkeeper Lütfi Samin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
