The Banaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gazanfer Sehriyar should have stopped the shot. When Ferid Erol fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banaz's protests and gave Ferid Erol a yellow card for diving instead. Ferid Erol hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Banaz's zone, Mehmet Hakkı Hasanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gazanfer Sehriyar came out of the goal and Mehmet Hakkı Hasanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuzey Yersel in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gazanfer Sehriyar saved Banaz from getting behind. Gazanfer Sehriyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuzey Yersel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuzey Yersel in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gazanfer Sehriyar saved Banaz from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ege İğdemir in the 29th minute of play forced Devrekhane JK's goalkeeper Birdal Hatipoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Banaz getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hasret Ahıska hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ege İğdemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birdal Hatipoğlu was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gazanfer Sehriyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuzey Yersel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Ege İğdemir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devrekhane JK's Birdal Hatipoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kuzey Yersel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Hakkı Hasanoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gazanfer Sehriyar made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Banaz's Gazanfer Sehriyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzey Yersel in the 60th minute of play. Gazanfer Sehriyar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Hakkı Hasanoğlu went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the game, Devrekhane JK's Mehmet Hakkı Hasanoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gazanfer Sehriyar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 70th minute Ferid Erol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birdal Hatipoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ege İğdemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devrekhane JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuzey Yersel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Banaz's Gazanfer Sehriyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzey Yersel in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Devrekhane JK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
