But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İskender Baki Soytekin couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Tommy Bohlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vecdi Dafi. Dinar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Bohlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Bohlin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vecdi Dafi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hikmet Togay's late challenge caught a Gençlergücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hikmet Togay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gençlergücü booed when Dinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Togay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vecdi Dafi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Bohlin in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute, Selahaddin Savaşer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 minutes, Ali Vedat Çalkın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinar and the Gençlergücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gençlergücü's Savaşer Keramettin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vecdi Dafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Bohlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Eralp Abdulhakimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Vecdi Dafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Tommy Bohlin sped through Dinar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vecdi Dafi. Tommy Bohlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vecdi Dafi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Bohlin ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Gençlergücü booed when Dinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakup Taykoç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dinar's zone, Tommy Bohlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdi Dafi came out of the goal and Tommy Bohlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jimeno Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gençlergücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Millrick couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Gençlergücü were the better team. Gençlergücü's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
