Halis Uzel struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Bahattin Emekli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalkan JK. Mevlüt Taşkesen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Bahattin Emekli made a huge save. Aydın Başkur's late challenge caught a Feneryolu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aydın Başkur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Feneryolu booed when Kalkan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydın Başkur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hüsamettin Pekinturk was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, one of Feneryolu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Mevlüt Taşkesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Halis Uzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalkan JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Halis Uzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahattin Emekli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, İlkan Türkoğlu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kalkan JK's Burhan Mücip. Burhan Mücip was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mevlüt Taşkesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bahattin Emekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batu Şahbaz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Bahattin Emekli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halis Uzel in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Tolga Taygar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kalkan JK's Burhan Mücip. Burhan Mücip was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tolga Taygar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halis Uzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Feneryolu's zone, Mevlüt Taşkesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahattin Emekli came out of the goal and Mevlüt Taşkesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mevlüt Taşkesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahattin Emekli having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mevlüt Taşkesen got free with Bahattin Emekli in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Feneryolu were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halis Uzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tolga Taygar took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Burhan Mücip. Burhan Mücip dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Türkeş Atlıhan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Burhan Mücip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batu Tekin in the 56th minute. Halis Uzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahattin Emekli having to interfere. The supporters of Kalkan JK booed when Feneryolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakut Deryace didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Feneryolu! Burhan Mücip made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tolga Taygar sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Halis Uzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bahattin Emekli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Halis Uzel kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Halis Uzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bahattin Emekli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mevlüt Taşkesen in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bahattin Emekli saved Feneryolu from getting behind. Mevlüt Taşkesen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bahattin Emekli having to make a save. If Halis Uzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kalkan JK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Halis Uzel hit a great ball. Bahattin Emekli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mevlüt Taşkesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Kalkan JK were the better team. Kalkan JK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
