Barlas İlmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Danış Baysoy in the 23rd minute of the match. Barlas İlmen came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Tosya SK's Izydor Domin. But to his dismay, Izydor Domin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gürcan Değirmencioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Besim Demiray in the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tosya SK's Gürcan Değirmencioğlu got control of the ball when Besim Demiray tried to sneak it across the goal line. Besim Demiray's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Gürcan Değirmencioğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mürsel Arkın struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gürcan Değirmencioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANKARAGÜCÜ. ANKARAGÜCÜ's Barlas İlmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Domin in the 36th minute of play. Gürcan Değirmencioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Besim Demiray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tosya SK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cezmi Balabey hit a great ball. Gürcan Değirmencioğlu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Besim Demiray. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Izydor Domin to make the kick off. When Ahmet Danış Baysoy came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tosya SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Danış Baysoy couldn't finish the play. Gürcan Değirmencioğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Besim Demiray's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes Tosya SK got a freekick which was hit by Enis Behiç Haylaz. Gürcan Değirmencioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Uluçkan in the 62nd minute of play. Izydor Domin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Tosya SK's goal looked a bit too open when Besim Demiray came free, but Gürcan Değirmencioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mutlu Erdemer charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mutlu Erdemer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute Besim Demiray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürcan Değirmencioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onur Ali Savtur's late challenge caught a Tosya SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onur Ali Savtur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tosya SK booed when ANKARAGÜCÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Ali Savtur didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 79th minute of the match Devran Tüzüner completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. In the 89th minute of the match, Izydor Domin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barlas İlmen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gürcan Değirmencioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Besim Demiray in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Besim Demiray made a precise shot to the right of Gürcan Değirmencioğlu. Tosya SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
