Turabi Can sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Fazlı Evirgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Ali Uluer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Alpertunga Turgut made a huge save. In the 14th minute Turabi Can shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özer Torcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Espiye FK's Turabi Can made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özer Torcan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Espiye FK's Sancar Oytun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Özer Torcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Espiye FK's Saruhan Saygılı managed to work through KonYASPOR's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Saruhan Saygılı dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Espiye FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Semih Rıfkı hit a great ball. With a little luck, Espiye FK's Alpertunga Turgut got control of the ball when Mustafa Ali Uluer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Mustafa Ali Uluer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KonYASPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Ali Uluer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KonYASPOR's Özer Torcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fazlı Evirgen in the 43rd minute of play. Sancar Oytun struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Özer Torcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espiye FK. After some careless play in the KonYASPOR defense, Saruhan Saygılı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özer Torcan. The KonYASPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özer Torcan should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saruhan Saygılı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Saruhan Saygılı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Turabi Can managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espiye FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Turabi Can was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özer Torcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Saruhan Saygılı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KonYASPOR's Özer Torcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saruhan Saygılı in the 71st minute of play. Semih Rıfkı didn't quite understand what happened when in the 74 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Özer Torcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saruhan Saygılı in the 76th minute of the match. Turabi Can who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Özer Torcan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Hayrettin Ahid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hulusi Baydar's late challenge caught a KonYASPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayrettin Ahid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Alpertunga Turgut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Espiye FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KonYASPOR throughout the match.
