When Emrullah Akgün got free in front of the goal in the 11th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Durmuş İksir was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Cenan Vahap came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Korgan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cenan Vahap couldn't finish the play. Cihan Öktem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Durmuş İksir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Ahmet Turan Kose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Afjet Afyon Spor and the Korgan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Turan Kose hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Korgan's Durmuş İksir got control of the ball when Cihan Öktem tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Cihan Öktem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durmuş İksir. Korgan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cihan Öktem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Durmuş İksir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Çağan Atikoğlu. After 29 played minutes Korgan got a freekick which was hit by Karhan Perver. Cihan Öktem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Durmuş İksir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Cihan Öktem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erdinç Elçibey kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Afjet Afyon Spor's Emrullah Akgün got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emrullah Akgün to strike the kick off in the second half. Korgan's Durmuş İksir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrullah Akgün in the 51st minute of play. Erdinç Elçibey was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Korgan getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Erdinç Elçibey hit a great ball. In the 54th minute of the match Çağan Atikoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durmuş İksir skillfully saved the ball. Cihan Öktem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korgan's goalkeeper Durmuş İksir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Emrullah Akgün notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Korgan's Durmuş İksir. Durmuş İksir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bülent Baş charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cihan Öktem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durmuş İksir having to interfere. If Cihan Öktem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Emrullah Akgün cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Durmuş İksir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 played minutes Afjet Afyon Spor got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Turan Kose. Durmuş İksir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emrullah Akgün, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
