In the 15th minute, Hamdullah Balta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ziya Akdoruk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nadir Arslanşah's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Erzurumspor's Besim Suerdem got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Olcay Orkun İzgi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mürsel Semih having to make a save. 1-0 became the score in the 31st minute when Anıl Ege Çakır elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hamdullah Balta might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mürsel Semih. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamdullah Balta ran back to his position shaking his head. Olcay Orkun İzgi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mürsel Semih read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barış Uğuz in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziya Akdoruk saved ESERKENT FK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olcay Orkun İzgi in the 46th minute of play forced Erzurumspor's goalkeeper Mürsel Semih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziya Akdoruk didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Erzurumspor's Anıl Ege Çakır shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barış Uğuz was the one to do the kick off. If Hamdullah Balta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erzurumspor's Mürsel Semih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olcay Orkun İzgi in the 69th minute of play. Erzurumspor's Anıl Ege Çakır got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESERKENT FK's goalkeeper Ziya Akdoruk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, ESERKENT FK's goal looked a bit too open when Barış Uğuz came free, but Ziya Akdoruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barış Uğuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erzurumspor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
