Batıhan Mecnun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Merdan having to interfere. Ayhan Servet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Merdan having to interfere. With 14 minutes on the clock, Beyhan Garipoğlu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Gölyaka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kangal:s goal. Güral Merdan had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Rui Toscano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 15 minutes into the game, Kangal's Rui Toscano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Güral Merdan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Gölyaka's goalkeeper Güral Merdan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batıhan Mecnun. Güral Merdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Toscano in the 27th minute of play forced Gölyaka's goalkeeper Güral Merdan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Enis Behiç Turbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gölyaka's supporters rose to their feet, but Enis Behiç Turbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hasan Hüseyin Peyami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 played minutes Kangal got a freekick which was hit by Batıhan Mecnun. The audience was convinced that Rui Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güral Merdan was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Toscano made a kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Rui Toscano sped through Gölyaka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Güral Merdan. After having played for 60 minutes, Enis Behiç Turbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gölyaka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enis Behiç Turbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rui Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batıhan Mecnun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Rui Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güral Merdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kangal's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Rui Toscano was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 84 minutes, Ahmet Nafiz Yarkın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gölyaka and the Kangal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Gölyaka got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nafiz Yarkın. Güral Merdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıhan Mecnun in the 91st minute of the match. Batıhan Mecnun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kangal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
