An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıray Bedel in the 7th minute of play forced FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper Atahan Kirtekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hidayet Ilgın came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hidayet Ilgın couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Hidayet Ilgın. Batıray Bedel might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Kirtekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batıray Bedel ran back to his position shaking his head. Atahan Kirtekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osman Ali Kıvanç in the 28th minute of the match. The wind increased when Osman Ali Kıvanç made the kick off in the second half. Atahan Kirtekin was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Osman Ali Kıvanç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
