When Zühtü Kura fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Tacettin Çiftçibaşı's late challenge caught a Sorgun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tacettin Çiftçibaşı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Tacettin Çiftçibaşı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehdi Özengin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sorgun's Mustafa Hamit Eyüpoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadırhan Haksever in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Cezmi Delioğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mürsel Muhittin, 1-0. Cezmi Delioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mürsel Muhittin having to interfere. If Cezmi Delioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, cılgın FB UNİTED's Tacettin Çiftçibaşı got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sorgun's Kandemir Yalkın couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for cılgın FB UNİTED. The supporters of Sorgun booed when cılgın FB UNİTED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yıldıray Tolga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in cılgın FB UNİTED's zone, Kandemir Yalkın stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mürsel Muhittin came out of the goal and Kandemir Yalkın tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahadırhan Haksever blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Hamit Eyüpoğlu having to make a save. Bahadırhan Haksever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hamit Eyüpoğlu having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Sorgun's Mehdi Özengin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mürsel Muhittin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mehdi Özengin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorgun's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehdi Özengin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mürsel Muhittin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute of the match Sorgun got a corner. cılgın FB UNİTED's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kandemir Yalkın ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 64th minute Sorgun were awarded a corner. Kandemir Yalkın went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sorgun's corner Kandemir Yalkın fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mürsel Muhittin quite easily take care of the ball. Yıldıray Tolga lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for cılgın FB UNİTED! Kandemir Yalkın shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 71st minute, Mahmut Baykan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by cılgın FB UNİTED's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kandemir Yalkın was slow to take the kick. During this time Sorgun's players had a chance to rest. In the 90th minute Cezmi Delioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mürsel Muhittin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehdi Özengin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mürsel Muhittin having to interfere. Cezmi Delioğlu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Mürsel Muhittin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorgun. In the 103rd minute Mehdi Özengin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mürsel Muhittin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sorgun had won after a very even match.
