Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Alex Golden made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Hayri Oğuzcan got free with Salih Şevki in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Alex Golden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Nuralp Kamuran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kadir İpekli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Bahtiyar Çakman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Safa-Sefa's Kadir İpekli. Kadir İpekli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Hattusa's zone, Abdulaziz Nurbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salih Şevki came out of the goal and Abdulaziz Nurbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hattusa booed when Safa-Sefa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Arcangeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kadir İpekli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahtiyar Çakman in the 27th minute of play. Hattusa's Salih Şevki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Hattusa from getting a goal against them. Salih Şevki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alex Golden showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Ertan Sabancı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Kadir İpekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kadir İpekli came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Hattusa's Ali Hamza Nurdag. But to his dismay, Ali Hamza Nurdag quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Bo Hernström hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertan Sabancı in the 45th minute of play forced Safa-Sefa's goalkeeper Kadir İpekli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ertan Sabancı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hattusa's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Golden came free, but Salih Şevki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Safa-Sefa's Alex Golden got a free kick in the 56th minute. Kadir İpekli came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Hattusa's Bahtiyar Çakman. But to his dismay, Bahtiyar Çakman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. A collision led to Hattusa getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bulut Tongar hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Safa-Sefa's Alex Golden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salih Şevki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salih Şevki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulaziz Nurbay in the 75th minute of play. Bahtiyar Çakman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kadir İpekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Abdulaziz Nurbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Safa-Sefa and the Hattusa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdulaziz Nurbay kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kadir İpekli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ertan Sabancı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hattusa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
