Safa-Sefa's Kadir İpekli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kunter Peykan in the 14th minute of play. Trabzonspor-EA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alberigo Villani in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alberigo Villani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kadir İpekli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Trabzonspor-EA's Batu Bahadır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Golden in the 17th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Atalay Gençyaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Safa-Sefa's Kadir İpekli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Safa-Sefa's Kadir İpekli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atalay Gençyaz in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Safa-Sefa booed when Trabzonspor-EA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Haydar Tokyüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kadir İpekli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kunter Peykan in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Safa-Sefa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Arcangeli to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kunter Peykan in the 27th minute of play forced Safa-Sefa's goalkeeper Kadir İpekli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Ahmet Hayri Oğuzcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Safa-Sefa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hayri Oğuzcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberigo Villani kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Özduran during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kunter Peykan in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kadir İpekli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kunter Peykan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kadir İpekli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kunter Peykan in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Trabzonspor-EA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atalay Gençyaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Golden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Safa-Sefa's Alex Golden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batu Bahadır made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 69 played minutes Safa-Sefa got a freekick which was hit by Bo Hernström. Atalay Gençyaz scored 1-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kadir İpekli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mustafa Haydar Tokyüz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Ahmet Hayri Oğuzcan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trabzonspor-EA's Batu Bahadır was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Batu Bahadır stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Hayri Oğuzcan's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 85 played minutes Trabzonspor-EA got a freekick which was hit by Teun Zeegelaar. The supporters of Safa-Sefa booed when Trabzonspor-EA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teun Zeegelaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batu Bahadır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Golden in the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot 93 in the game by Güralp Hadi from a close distance when the talented Kadir İpekli managed to make a qualified save. Safa-Sefa's players were relieved. Batu Bahadır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Golden, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Trabzonspor-EA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Trabzonspor-EA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
