The throw-in from Tarık Kutsan in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ankara SK's Batur Serkan. After a rather tough play, Cüngüs SK's Asaf Özge got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Birant Kaygun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacit Adıyaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Babür Balkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cüngüs SK's zone, Babür Balkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sacit Adıyaman came out of the goal and Babür Balkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babür Balkar made a kick off. Ali Asım Satıbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cevher Nazmi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Cüngüs SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevher Nazmi to maneuver through the defense. Gürkan Erokay came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cüngüs SK's Ali Asım Satıbey. But to his dismay, Ali Asım Satıbey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 65thth minute of the game Babür Balkar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cüngüs SK's Sacit Adıyaman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ankara SK's goalkeeper Gürkan Erokay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Asım Satıbey. Sacit Adıyaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babür Balkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Abdulkerim Uluer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürkan Erokay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Göktuğ Tanın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Asım Satıbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürkan Erokay having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Ankara SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Kürşat Kayra. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Babür Balkar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankara SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Babür Balkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sacit Adıyaman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Babür Balkar succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. In the 88th minute, Birant Kaygun made a precise shot to the right of Sacit Adıyaman. Cüngüs SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Ankara SK's Gürkan Erokay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ankara SK from getting a goal against them. Ankara SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
