Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Babür Balkar made the kick off which started today's match. 12 minutes into the match, Birant Kaygun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Barış Çubuk, 1-0. Garip Şemsifer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gürkan Erokay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karasu's Barış Çubuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birant Kaygun in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Babür Balkar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barış Çubuk, passed just outside the right post. Babür Balkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barış Çubuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babür Balkar's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garip Şemsifer to strike the kick off in the second half. Barış Çubuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batur Serkan in the 53rd minute of the match. Barış Çubuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Babür Balkar's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Karasu's Garip Şemsifer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Babür Balkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes, Babür Balkar made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Karasu's Barış Çubuk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ankara SK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Birant Kaygun hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Karasu defense, Babür Balkar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barış Çubuk. The Karasu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barış Çubuk should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Babür Balkar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ankara SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Birant Kaygun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankara SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Birant Kaygun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barış Çubuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Babür Balkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barış Çubuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barış Çubuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babür Balkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Birant Kaygun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Barış Çubuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Babür Balkar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barış Çubuk was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Karasu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
