In a very dangerous position, a player in Yerköy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ayazpasa a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. Ercan Vezir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cem Satılmış having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seyfullah Ceyhan was the one to do the kick off. Rauf Tayman kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yerköy's zone, Ercan Vezir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cem Satılmış came out of the goal and Ercan Vezir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yerköy's Cem Satılmış proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Yerköy from getting a goal against them. Songurbey Oskan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Üzeyir Kıralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yerköy's goalkeeper Cem Satılmış, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Yerköy got a freekick which was hit by Nejat Alp Tuz. Üzeyir Kıralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Songurbey Oskan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Yerköy's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Vezir came free, but Cem Satılmış reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cem Satılmış made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vural Topuz in the 78th minute. With an all-out effort, Ayazpasa's Cem Satılmış threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ercan Vezir, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th match minute, Yerköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejat Alp Tuz to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th play minute Vural Topuz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cem Satılmış. 0-4. Songurbey Oskan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Üzeyir Kıralp went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ayazpasa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
